Avast scan external hard drive

I've checked with MS process monitor and it is Avast Behavior Shield causing them to start over and over again. Kind of annoying when they start spinning just because Avast wants to scan them every 5 minutes, there are only media files (MKV,MP4,MP3) on them.

Hi, do anyone know how to make Avast Free AV stop scanning external hdd's? Excluding them doesn't help.
